Shredding Company Doubles Space, Inks 35,000 SF Lease
CBRE has arranged a 34,806-square-foot lease for Shred-it at Prologis’ Pompano Industrial Center I, located at 1300 NW 22nd Street in Pompano Beach.
Shred-it is an information destruction company, serving more than 300,000 global, national and local businesses with over 140 branches located in 18 countries around the world. The company will move from its current 15,000-square-foot location at 3550 Gateway Drive in Pompano Beach to assume occupancy on Dec. 1, 2014.
“Shred-it was looking for lease space to accommodate their expansion, with additional parking, heavy power, and quick access to I-95. Pompano Industrial Center met all of those requirements,” said CBRE First Vice President Tony Hoover.
Hoover, based in Boca Raton, and Kristin Dragon, with CBRE’s Global Corporate Services in Cincinnati, arranged the lease on behalf of the tenant.
Chris Metzger of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.
