South Dade Shopping Center Sells For $40.5 Million

Weingarten Realty Investors, a Houston-based retail REIT, sold the South Dade Shopping Center located at 18403-18575 S. Dixie Highway in Miami to Principal Financial Group for $40.5 million, or about $184 per square foot.
The 219,473-square-foot retail building is anchored by Publix, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Petco, Harbor Freight Tools, and Chuck E. Cheese.
Mark Gilbert of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. represented the seller. The buyers were represented in-house by Principal Real Estate Investors LLC.
