South Florida Industrial Team Inks Leases Totaling 69,000 SF

Cushman & Wakefield’s Executive Directors, Chris Metzger and Rick Etner, along with C&W Senior Director Christopher Thomson represented Prologis in a new 34,000-square-foot industrial lease for Economic Electric Motors, Inc.,as well as a 34,806-square-foot industrial lease for Shred-It USA, LLC at 1280 NW 22nd Street and 1300 NW 22nd Street in Pompano Beach.
This brings the property to 100% occupancy.

“Activity in Northern Broward County has been brisk, awakening from its summer slumber,” stated Chris Metzger. “Lease up of the remaining Prologis properties in Pompano Beach has resulted in 100% occupancy at the Center Port Distribution Center (409,019 square feet in 5 buildings), and most recently Prologis Pompano Industrial Center I (68,806 square feet).

Chris Metzger was lamenting that he is leasing himself out of a job with only 54,185 square feet remaining at Prologis Park Pompano Beach, which has two prospects negotiating for the entire space.

“It is time to build,” added Metzger.
