Swire Properties Names Financial Controller

Swire Properties Inc, one of South Florida’s leading international developers of urban real estate, announced the addition of Dalia Pearson, C.P.A., as financial controller.
In this role, Pearson will be responsible for all accounting operations and maintenance of the financial records relating to the company, including the company’s billion dollar mixed-use development, Brickell City Centre.
Pearson is an accomplished accounting professional with over 10 years of experience conducting audits and high-level financial reporting with a specialization in construction. She has been recognized for her outstanding professional achievements as the Young Constructors Forum Member of the Year in both 2011 and 2007 and has been published in a leading trade industry magazine.
Prior to joining Swire Properties Inc, Pearson was an audit director with McGladrey, LLP where she was responsible for the overall engagement of audits and reviews.
She is active in several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Associated General Contractors of America’s South Florida Chapter; Young Constructors Forum and Construction Financial Management Association.
