The transformative, mixed-use development spans approximately seven acres.
The firm has also signed a 79,141-square-foot lease on the neighboring block at Miami Tower, located at 100 SE 1st Ave., for a build-to-suit corporate headquarters relocation of a multi-billion-dollar public company.
The projects total $29 million and 318,000 square feet of Class A warehouses.
Construction of Midtown Place at Boca Raton will launch in early 2023, delivering the first major ground-up development of a multi-tenant Class A+ office building to the city in more than a decade. Butters expects to deliver the five-story, $70 million-plus office building by mid-2024.
The project would total 328,870 square feet, with two distribution warehouses of 164,435 square feet each.
The project is on a fast-track for completion in the second quarter of 2021.
Designed by RLC Architects and Jackson Liles Architecture, the three-story building has a host of features found in few warehouses.
Located near the intersection of Florida’s Turnpike and U.S. 27, and close to Interstate 75, Midpoint Miami Logistics Park will provide next-generation industrial space in a market responding to intense demand spurred by the uptick in ecommerce during the COVID-19 pandemic.
