Transwestern Making Wishes Come True

Transwestern recently announced a national partnership with Make-A-Wish® to support the organization’s mission.
The firm will host a variety of fundraising events to support this worthy cause over the next year throughout the country.  Transwestern plans to work with its tenants, vendors and owner clients to organize local fundraising events such as spin-a-thons during the month of May, and various events throughout the year.
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Headquartered in Phoenix, Make-A-Wish is one of the world’s leading children’s charities, serving children in every community in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 28,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish grants a wish somewhere in the country every 35 minutes. It has granted more than 270,000 wishes since its inception in 1980; more than 14,800 in 2015 alone.
A Fundraising Kick-Off Event for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, “Wish Upon A Star,” celebrates Transwestern’s kick-off event in the local South Florida market and launches its yearlong partnership with Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida. All funds raised will help to create extraordinary experiences for children. Transwestern plans to work with its South Florida tenants, vendors and owner clients to organize fundraising events such as spin-a-thons during the month of May, as well as participate in Walk for Wishes events throughout the year with the goal of raising $50,000 during the course of the annual campaign.
