State-Of-The-Art Motorola R&D Center In Plantation Trades For $48.5 Million

Torburn Partners sold its brand-new, purpose-built Motorola Research & Development facility in Plantation for $48.5 million.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Dominic Montazemi, Mike Davis, Rick Brugge, Rick Colon and Mike Ciadella represented Torburn Partners in the transaction.

Located in Plantation Pointe, one of South Florida’s most dynamic mixed-use developments, the newly constructed, 83,551-square-foot building is fully leased to Motorola Solutions. Motorola has maintained operations in Plantation since 1970, playing a vital role in the city’s economic growth and development for more than five decades. The new, mission-critical facility builds on this legacy, featuring dedicated laboratories, specialized lab support spaces, a data center at the building’s core and robust emergency-response communications infrastructure, including exclusive access to a 150-foot lattice tower just off-site.
