Colliers Announces First Retail Tenant At WPB’s District At Northwood
Colliers announced that ELEV8TION Fitness has signed a 7,617-square-foot lease as the first retail tenant at The District at Northwood, a transformative mixed-use development currently under construction in West Palm Beach.
Colliers’ Executive Vice Presidents Jonathan Carter and Dave Preston, along with Senior Vice President Pablo Camposano, represented the developer, Immocorp Ventures, a joint venture between Beachwold Residential and Immocorp Capital, in the transaction.
Located at 2501 Pinewood Ave. in the city’s Northwood Village neighborhood, The District at Northwood is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. The landmark project will feature 64,000 square feet of curated restaurant and retail space, 382 luxury apartment residences, high-end amenities and a pedestrian-oriented streetscape designed to anchor the Northwood Village corridor.
“The District at Northwood is poised to transform the northern gateway of West Palm Beach and emerge as a landmark within the area’s expanding arts and cultural district,” said Carter. “With limited new supply and significant pent‑up demand from operators seeking well‑located, high‑quality space, we are experiencing strong interest from a diverse mix of tenants. The strong response underscores the clear market demand for a thoughtfully curated retail destination and affirms The District’s role in meeting that need.”
Founded in 2017, ELEV8TION is a renowned fitness brand known for its results‑driven training environment and community-focused approach to health and wellness. After an extensive site search, the company selected The District at Northwood for its scale, demographics and strategic positioning within one of South Florida’s fastest-growing corridors.
“We are thrilled to bring ELEV8TION to The District at Northwood,” said Angel Bajana, owner of ELEV8TION. “With unrivaled exposure, immediate connectivity to residents and proximity to the area’s exciting new developments, this location aligns perfectly with our vision to establish a flagship presence in one of the city’s most dynamic emerging markets.”
The District at Northwood is rising amid significant investment and residential momentum across West Palm Beach – particularly along North Flagler Drive and around Currie Park. Nearby projects such as the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Shorecrest, and Olara (currently under construction), along with the recently announced Mandarin Oriental Residences, underscore the continued evolution of the area into a premier residential and lifestyle hub. In a market facing a shortage of high-quality retail space—especially for food-and-beverage concepts— The District at Northwood is positioned to become a cornerstone of Northwood Village’s growth and West Palm Beach’s broader expansion.
