Berger Commercial Realty’s Brian Batchelder Reps Buyer In Pompano Beach Warehouse Sale

Berger Commercial Realty/Corfac International Vice President Brian Batchelder represented the buyer, UNITS®, in the purchase of a 23,200-square-foot warehouse located at 1700 NW 33rd Street in Pompano Beach.

Coastal Waste & Recycling of Broward County, LLC sold the facility, which is situated on 1.88 acres of land, for $4,500,000. SVN Commercial Realty’s Keith Kidwell, Steven Davis, and Les Byron represented the seller in the transaction.

The deal closed February 17.

Established in 2004, UNITS® was founded during the emerging mobile storage and moving industry. The Company’s mission was to provide personal mom and pop type customer service and supply the most innovative and highest quality equipment. The vision was simple….provide solutions for all kinds of space issues and eliminate the usual frustrations associated with moving a home or relocation of a business.

The warehouse will now be the home of UNITS® Ft. Lauderdale Moving & Portable Storage. The UNITS® delivery system is the most technologically advanced in the industry, virtually eliminating any shift in contents when lifting containers on and off transport vehicles.

Brian Batchelder-Berger Commercial Realty“The property checked all of the boxes for UNITS® operation and was great find for our client considering the limited availability of industrial product in this market,” commented Batchelder.

The building features 2,386 square feet of remodeled second floor office space; a 2,386-square-foot first floor air-conditioned area including offices, a breakroom, and locker room; heavy three phase power and all concrete construction and offers easy access to I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike, being located one block south of Sample Road, between Andrews Avenue and Powerline Road.
