Casal Group recently brokered the sale of a five-acre lot in Opa Locka for $2.9 million, located at 3805 NW 132 St. in the LeJeune-Douglas Industrial Park.
The buyer, All Florida Land Cleaning, Inc., purchased the property from Milcos LLC., with the intent of building their headquarters and an assembly facility.
“The demand for industrial lots continues to rise throughout Miami-Dade,” said Casal Group Principal Ernesto Casal, who represented Milcos. “The continued gentrification of Airport West and other traditional industrial areas is driving price increases — making areas like Opa-locka and other nearby markets more attractive to industrial buyers.”
Milcos LLC had originally purchased the property in 2005 with the intent of converting an existing building into a distribution facility for its grocery business. After the building was damaged by Hurricane Wilma, Milcos decided not to construct a new building on the lot.
