BREAKING: CBRE Appoints Former C&W Managing Principal To Managing Director In Miami

CBRE announced the appointment of Gian Rodriguez as Managing Director in Miami, effective Jan. 8.

In his role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic direction and day-to-day leadership in the Miami office and will oversee the industrial platform across South Florida.

Mr. Rodriguez joins Josh Bank, CBRE Executive Managing Director for Florida, and Susan Bands, CBRE Managing Director for Palm Beach County.

“Gian’s depth of market knowledge will be a tremendous asset to all of us as we continue to expand our market share across South Florida,” said CBRE Executive Managing Director Josh Bank. “We are excited to welcome him onto our team in a full-time leadership position.

Over the past decade, Rodriguez built his career as a market-leading brokerage professional specializing in industrial landlord and tenant representation. Rodriguez has completed industrial sale and lease transactions valued at more than $2 billion. He has represented a variety of notable institutional industrial owners. Additionally, he has represented a wide array of prominent industrial users in South Florida.

Prior to joining CBRE, he served as Managing Principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida offices, where he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s nearly 300-person operation across the region.

Rodriguez, a Miami native bilingual in English and Spanish, earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.

Actively involved in industry associations, Rodriguez sits on the Board of Directors for NAIOP’s South Florida chapter. In 2019, he was honored as one of South Florida Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40′ in recognition of his accomplishments.
