Coastal-Inspired Restaurant To Open First Miami Location At Mary Brickell Village

Newmark Retail has completed an 8,621square-foot lease with The Hampton Social at Mary Brickell Village, located at 901 S Miami Avenue in Miami.

The trendy, coastal-inspired restaurant and social club is the latest retailer to join the open-air, urban dining and shopping destination. Newmark’s Managing Director John Ellis represented the landlord, and Keith Rogers of RD Advisors represented Hampton Social in the transaction.

Originating in Chicago, The Hampton Social is a playful, modern, east-coast-inspired restaurant hotspot from Restauranteur Brad Parker’s – Parker Hospitality. The restaurant is expanding nationally with several locations in the Greater Chicago area, two Florida locations in Orlando and Naples and the most recent opening in Nashville, Tennessee. Designed by Parker Hospitality and world-renowned Chicago-based architect Mark Knauer, the Mary Brickell Village restaurant will be The Hampton Social’s ninth location. It will feature a stylish interior that combines sophisticated elements inspired by the Miami area and maritime details inherent to seaside culture. The menu will comprise fresh seafood starters, substantial sandwiches, and large seasonal plates that features traditional east-coast fare in a casually upscale, approachable environment.

“The Hampton Social’s fashionable concept will be a great fit amongst the high-end restaurants and retailers at Mary Brickell Village,” said Ellis. “As residents and tourists alike resume pre-pandemic shopping and dining habits, the demand for innovative concepts has never been higher.”

Mary Brickell Village is an upscale, master-planned, mixed-use development featuring over 200,000 square feet of open-air retail space. The development is known as Miami’s urban playground, anchored by a 29,000-square-foot Publix and 38,000-square-foot LA Fitness Signature Club. Mary Brickell Village offers a diverse list of retail offerings, including high-end bars and eateries where visitors can enjoy indoor and open-air dining. Other notable restaurant tenants include Moxie’s, Balans, North Italia, Toscana Divino, Starbucks, Raw Jūce, Shake Shack, PF Changs and Blue Martini. Italian gelato purveyor RivaReno Gelato will soon open its first U.S. location at Mary Brickell Village, part of a larger plan to enhance the offerings at the development.

Located in the heart of Brickell’s 24-hour, live-work-play neighborhood, Mary Brickell Village is surrounded by excellent high street retail offerings, dense office space and residential communities. The center attracts an affluent consumer demographic and reaches over 147,000 downtown workers. The property comprises two parcels divided by S. Miami Avenue and spans two blocks between 9th and 10th Street. The property can also be accessed via Miami Metrorail at Brickell Station and the Metromover.

Brickell is the third-most dense downtown in America, with over 2,600 people per acre and a daytime population of over 220,000 people. The area draws significant foot traffic from newly built condos, hotels, trendy bars and restaurants, including a diverse crowd of young professionals, international visitors, and locals. Brickell also offers proximity to Port Miami and many established corporate headquarters.
