Three commercial real estate firms have recently announced new hires.

Native Realty Expands Team with Associate And Senior Property Manager

Native Realty, led by CEO Jaime Sturgis, capped off a strong 2022 with the addition of experienced commercial real estate professional Donald VanBeach as a new Associate and Caren Davila as Senior Property Manager. VanBeach and Davila joined numerous talented and passionate brokers and property enthusiasts in becoming members of the Native family over the past year.

VanBeach has a diversified real estate background, with significant leasing, neighborhood curation and portfolio management experience. He previously served as Regional Property Director at the Altman Companies and Operations Analyst at Highmark Residential. At Native, VanBeach applies his local knowledge and passion for helping leasing and investment sales clients achieve their goals. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Davila is responsible for the management of a variety of commercial properties in South Florida, overseeing everything from maintenance to accounting and relationship management. Native’s property management division – known as Native Management – offers flexibility, white glove experience and cutting-edge technology to property owners. It is equipped to serve owners of all sizes, from mom-and-pop investors with individual properties to institutional firms with portfolios of up to 10 million square feet.

Native now operates from a new Fort Lauderdale office that is double the size of its previous headquarters. The 4,000-square-foot office is located at 1926 E. Sunrise Blvd. in the city’s Victoria Park neighborhood.

PEBB Enterprises Adds Bradley Burgeson as Financial Analyst in Boca Raton

PEBB Enterprises, the South Florida-based full-service private real estate investment company, expanded its growing team with the addition of new Financial Analyst Bradley Burgeson. The real estate finance professional specializes in analysis, modeling and underwriting commercial real estate transactions.

Burgeson previously worked as a Financial Analyst with Marcus & Millichap before being elevated to Transaction & Marketing Coordinator. His responsibilities included market data analysis, underwriting acquisitions, managing buyer and seller relationships and buildout of marketing materials and strategies for transactions.

“Brad’s educational background in commercial real estate analytics and transactions makes him a valuable asset for us,” said Ian Weiner, PEBB Enterprises President and CEO. “He brings a unique thought process to our team that should make an immediate impact. We are happy to welcome him to the PEBB family.”

Burgeson earned a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University.

NAI/Merin Hunter Codman Hires Chief Operating Officer

NAI/Merin Hunter Codman has hired Matthew Brown as Chief Operating Officer.

As Chief Operating Officer, Brown will be responsible for overseeing the growth and operation of NAI/Merin Hunter Codman’s real estate brokerage and property management businesses as well as playing a key role in identifying and closing real estate acquisition opportunities in the Southeastern United States on behalf of the firm’s affiliated MHCommercial Real Estate Funds.

Bringing over 20 years’ experience to the firm, Brown comes to NAI/Merin Hunter Codman from New York City based Dabby Investments where he served as Chief Investment Officer responsible for identifying and acquiring value-add commercial real estate assets throughout the United States. He also brings a strong commercial real estate brokerage and capital markets advisory background to NAI/Merin Hunter Codman having previously served as a Managing Director and capital markets team leader with Colliers International, Newmark, and the Carlton Group.
