Gunster Bids Downtown Miami Adieu

Gunster has moved its Miami office to 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza, leasing the 35th floor of Miami’s newest office skyscraper.
The West Palm Beach-based firm moved into its new space in August, signing a 12-year lease for 21,355 square feet. The firm’s Miami office was previously in One Biscayne Tower at 2 Biscayne Blvd.
Unlike a host of law firms flocking to the Southeast Financial Center in downtown Miami, Gunster chose to move to 600 Brickell because of its location in the Brickell corridor, the strong tenant roster and its advanced technology and infrastructure capabilities, managing shareholder Bill Perry said in a statement.
One of downtown Miami’s newest office buildings, the 40-story tower opened in 2011. Tenants include New York-based lender Doral Money and Irvine, Calif.-based mediation and arbitration firm JAMS.
Gunster has 30 lawyers in its Miami office.
