Cushman & Wakefield Brings 9,000 SF Tenant To Downtown Miami

Cushman & Wakefield negotiated a lease for CellMark Pulp & Paper at One Biscayne Tower in Downtown Miami.
Commercial real estate veteran Tony Jones, Senior Director of the Office Tenant Advisory Group at Cushman & Wakefield’s Miami office represented CellMark Pulp & Paper in the 9,000 square foot deal.
“We are proud to have structured an operationally and financially sound real estate transaction for our client, and are certain they will benefit from the amenities and convenience of One Biscayne Tower,” stated Mr. Jones. “Cushman & Wakefield is excited to partner with companies like CellMark that are poised for growth, and our services line up perfectly to assist them with their expansion,” added Jones.
Jones focuses on delivering optimal real estate solutions to corporate and institutional tenants, major law firms and both global and local businesses.
In its relatively brief history, CellMark has grown at a pace unmatched in the industry. Since its establishment in 1984, CellMark has become one of the world’s foremost providers of supply chain services to the pulp and paper industry. Today, CellMark’s group sales exceed 3.2 billion US dollars.
CellMark’s acquisition of Alcan International Network, which was completed at the end of 2011, is in terms of size and scope the most important acquisition in the company’s history. In addition to increasing the company’s number of employees from 525 to more than 700, the move resulted in the establishment of two new product divisions: CellMark Metals and CellMark Chemicals. Today, CellMark operates six specialized product divisions, each focusing on a basic product category.
Two of these categories, pulp and recycling, are part of the paper-making process, paper and packaging represent the output of that process and the other two; chemicals and metals, handles industrial and specialty chemicals and metals as well as equipment for the foundry industry. Their growing involvement in solid biofuels (in the form of woodchips and pellets) is managed by the Pulp division. The product divisions are represented and supported by CellMark’s global network of 65 offices in 30 countries — as well as a large number of representatives in other locales. Our sourcing activities extend to more than 80 countries, with sales in about 125 markets.
