Law Firm Inks 12,500 SF Lease At Southeast Financial

Southeast Financial Center announced today that the building signed a lease renewal and expansion with Meland Russin & Budwick for 12,560 square feet on the 32nd floor. The last lease of the year for the building brought the total square footage leased in 2011 to 200,200 square feet.
Meland Russin & Budwick, distinguished purveyors of legal services and AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been a tenant within Southeast Financial Center for the past 17 years.
“We did our due diligence when we went to market to explore office space options, and we just didn’t see anything we liked more than where we were,” said Mark S. Meland, Partner and Co-Founder of Meland Russin & Budwick. “Southeast Financial Center has withstood the test of time.”
Meland Russin & Budwick represents the 15th legal tenant to sign at Southeast Financial Center since the 4th Quarter 2010.
“As evident from the prior year’s transactions, renewals and expansions are fueling the market,” said Donald Cartwright, Senior Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle. “The commitment shown by this tenant, who has been in property for nearly two decades, points to the current direction we are taking with upgrades as well as ensuring we have a strong complementary tenant base.” Mr. Cartwright along with Jones Lang LaSalle Vice President Nicole Vassilaros are the exclusive leasing agents for Southeast Financial Center.
