NAI RWNK & Co's Scarpino Reps Tenant In 20,000 SF Lease Valued At More Than $4.3 Million

Michael Scarpino, CCIM, Senior Associate with NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co., in association with JR Tomlinson of Jackson & Cooksey, Dallas, Texas, announced today that they negotiated a ten-year lease at Huntington Centre I on behalf of Ecolab Inc. – Latin America Division.
The net value of the lease is in excess of $4.3 million.

“This new location will be the Latin America Headquarters for Ecolab, bringing over 50 new high level jobs to Broward County,” commented Scarpino.  “Incentives for the move were provided by the city, county and state and this effort was spearheaded by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward Alliance.  Ecolab is a Fortune 300 company that actively seeks to improve the use of water resources and to partner with organizations that support the advancement of responsible use of the world’s limited fresh water supply.  Broward County was in competition with Miami-Dade County, as well as other metro areas for this location, but Ecolab felt that the Miramar location provided the talent pool, infrastructure, diversity, quality of life and airports with ease of access to South America.”

The space has been completely retrofitted to meet the needs of the tenant.
The property is conveniently located just off of Miramar Parkway at Interstate 75 and the company took occupancy of the space in mid- January of this year.
The landlord was represented by Donna Korn and Jennifer Gemma of Taylor & Mathis, Inc.
