Pete Messina Enrolls Charter School In New 22,000 SF Lease
Peter Messina, CCIM, SFR, Vice President, Commercial Brokerage, with Brenner Real Estate Group, represented iSuccess Academies of Southeast Florida, Inc., doing business as iGeneration Empowerment Academy of Riveria Beach, in leasing 21,549 square feet of office space for a charter school within the NorthCorp building at 3970 RCA Blvd, in Palm Beach Gardens.
The Landlord, John C. Bills Enterprises, LTD, was represented by K. Dan Shalloway of Sperry Van Ness.
The charter school lists three additional locations in the state, including Lantana, Naples and Pembroke Pines, according to their website, however, the Pembroke Pines school was one of four charter schools in Broward County that did not open in time for the 2012-2013 school year.
The Broward County School District said each school failed to submit documentation of certain provisions they had to meet before the July 20th deadline. The schools in question were given several reminders of the deadline and notified that “Failure to provide the required documents within the specific time frame terminated the charter agreement.”
In addition to iGeneration, the district did not have contracts for Academic Solutions High School, Broward Math & Science Schools, and Pivot Charter School for the current school year.
