Race Track Logistics Delivers First 620,000 SF At Pompano Industrial Project

South Florida’s industrial pipeline has added a major new block of space with the completion of Phase I at Race Track Logistics Pompano, a large-scale logistics and distribution project in Pompano Beach.

Frampton Construction has delivered the first four buildings at the development, totaling 620,738 square feet. The full project is planned for 1.5 million square feet of industrial space on an 87-acre site.

The project is being developed by Boston-based Rockpoint Group and was designed by Ware Malcomb. CBRE is handling leasing.

Race Track Logistics Pompano is located within the broader master plan for The Pomp, the 223-acre mixed-use redevelopment anchored by Harrah’s Pompano Beach Casino and Topgolf. The larger district is envisioned as a $2 billion destination combining entertainment, commercial and industrial uses.

The newly completed industrial buildings feature two-story glass storefronts, upgraded exterior design elements, extensive landscaping and a TPO roofing system. The LEED-certified project is designed to accommodate logistics and distribution users through a combination of custom spaces and speculative office suites.

The first phase is now welcoming tenants, marking a significant step forward for one of Broward County’s most prominent industrial developments. Its scale and location within a major mixed-use redevelopment reflect continued demand for modern logistics space in South Florida, where land constraints and proximity to population centers continue to drive interest in well-located industrial product.
