Shared Workspace Company Increases Footprint In Downtown Miami

Quest Workspaces will debut three new floors of office space at Miami Tower, a 47-story landmark office skyscraper located at 100 SE Second St. in Downtown Miami.

This will be Quest’s fifth location in Miami, its seventh in the county and 11th in the state.

The first of Quest’s Miami Tower workspaces (a complete takeover of the building’s 20th floor) is slated to open November 1. This will be followed by the opening of the 38th floor, scheduled to open in Spring 2024) and complete when Quest occupies the final space on the 37th floor (slated for the beginning of 2025). Once all three floors are complete, Quest will occupy a total of 40,820 square feet and 173 offices in the tower.

CBRE Executive Vice President Gordon Messinger and Senior Vice President Randy Carballo represented the landlord (CP Group and DRA Advisors) in the lease deal.

Designed by esteemed architect I.M. Pei (lauded as the “Master of Modern Architecture”) and managed by CP Group, Miami Tower is known for its dramatic exterior glass tiers and color-changing light installations, making it one of the most photographed buildings in the Miami skyline. It is centrally located on the Miami River, offering incredible views of Biscayne Bay and downtown. It is easily accessible off I-95 and has a Metromover station within the building. The tower is directly across from the James L. Knight Center and Hyatt Regency Miami, a hotel and convention complex currently being redeveloped by Crocker Partners.

“As someone who has deep roots in South Florida, and has seen the evolution of Downtown Miami in the last several decades, securing a space in this iconic Miami building is a dream come true,” said Laura Kozelouzek, CEO and Founder of Quest Workspaces. “Downtown Miami has arguably become an international capital where industries like finance, tech, medicine and creative services intersect at a global business scale, and we are offering those diverse businesses the ideal space where they can be successful and work the way they want.”

As the largest female-owned shared workspace brand in the U.S., Quest continues to buck industry trends. With an average occupancy rate of 92% nationally, the company is experiencing unprecedented growth. Its mission is not just to provide office space, conference rooms and business equipment to Questers; it seeks to nurture individuals, enabling them to thrive in their businesses – and their well-being. Self-funded, the company structure allows Quest to offer Questers customized services and benefits that other organizations may not be able to. In fact, Quest was named one of INC’s 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

“Quest has been dominating the South Florida market as they’ve been pushing forward to meet the ever-growing demand for quality co-working spaces in this strong market,” said Lance Benson, Executive Managing Director at Newmark. “Their latest lease in Downtown Miami, in such an iconic property, is further testament to their belief in the strength of the neighborhood and illustrates their commitment to Miami.”
