One of the country’s largest privately held construction firms will occupy the majority of the third floor at New York Life Investment’s Weston Pointe I, expanding its presence in the tri-county area.
The new tenant will be relocating from another building in Fort Lauderdale and expand its footprint by approximately 15,000 square feet, occupying the entire sixth floor of the building.
The transaction marks the largest office lease renewal completed in Broward County since 2019.
Bridge signed a 12,000-square-foot deal with Kahane and Associates, P.A., a consumer finance litigation law firm relocating from Plantation, and a 15,000-square-foot lease with Acentria Insurance, an insurance company relocating from Fort Lauderdale.
Colliers’ Executive Vice President Robert Listokin represented FirstService Residential in the lease negotiations.
Jason Hochman and Ron Granite of Cushman & Wakefield secured $46.3 million in acquisition financing through Argentic Investment Management on behalf of the buyers.
The team completed some of Broward County’s largest deals in 2020 with 36 transactions totaling 259,765 square feet of leases.
