100,000 Square Foot Tenant Looking For New Home
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) will lead the search for a potential new headquarters for Bluegreen Vacations, a leading resort management and vacation ownership company based in Boca Raton.
Greg Katz, NGKF’s Vice Chairman in the Miami office, has been tapped by the firm to search for 100,000 square feet of prime office space located in or around Palm Beach and Broward counties.
“We look forward to presenting Bluegreen Vacations with all available opportunities,” said Katz. “Ultimately, our goal is to identify a solution that aligns with the company’s business objectives.”
Bluegreen Vacations employs nearly 6,000 personnel company-wide, with over 500 in the Boca Raton office. The company has been headquartered at Boca Raton Innovation Campus, the former IBM headquarters, since 1997. With a lease expiring at the end of 2018, Bluegreen is evaluating all options including extending the present lease and remaining at Boca Raton Innovation Campus, relocating, or developing a new headquarters.
“We’re confident that NGKF will help to shine a light on our company’s needs to identify more efficient space that will complement our dynamic work environment, provide an optimal location, offer unique amenities, and allow us to continue to develop and expand as a company,” said Susan Saturday, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Bluegreen Vacations.
