Aerospace Company Expands South Florida Footprint With 100,000 SF Weston Lease

Ontic is growing its South Florida operations with a 100,000-square-foot industrial lease at Weston Commerce Park, a 134,400-square-foot property owned by EastGroup Properties at 1951 North Commerce Parkway in Weston.

The aerospace original equipment manufacturer, which supports aviation and defense customers, is expected to occupy the space in 2027 after planned improvements to the facility. Upgrades are slated to include additional power capacity, full air conditioning and new interior finishes.

The new Weston location will place Ontic near its existing 64,000-square-foot headquarters in Miramar, where the company opened a facility in late 2025 following a $10 million investment. That site supports Ontic’s maintenance, repair and overhaul work for aviation and aerospace clients.

Terms of the long-term lease were not disclosed.
