Brickell Office Tower Goes On The Block For Over $500M

At least four properties within the Brickell corridor have gone up for sale since the fall. Nuveen Real Estate‘s 701 Brickell office tower is the latest, hitting the market for more than $500 million.

The 33-story bayfront tower is more than 90% occupied. Tenants include Bank of America, IT and security management software provider Kaseya, and law firm Holland & Knight.

According to the property’s website, 701 Brickell, which was built in 1985, totals 687,000 square feet. The office tower was renovated in 2021. Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA), Nuveen’s parent, bought it in 2002 for $172 million.

701 Brickell is being marketed by JLL.
