Law Firm Holland & Knight LLP Renews 121,000-SF Office Lease Renewal At 701 Brickell

Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord Nuveen Real Estate in signing a 121,032-square-foot office lease renewal at 701 Brickell.

The renewal is with American multinational law firm Holland & Knight LLP who will continue occupying their current six floors of office space.

Brian Gale and Edward Quinon of Cushman & Wakefield represented Nuveen Real Estate in the lease negotiations. Holland & Knight LLP was represented by Todd Lippman and Shay Pope of CBRE.

Cushman & Wakefield has been overseeing leasing efforts for 701 Brickell on behalf of Nuveen since April 2019. The office building had a strong year of leasing activity in 2022 with nine lease transactions signed for a total of 71,292 square feet. Currently, the building is 96% occupied.

701 Brickell spans 33 stories and is situated on Brickell Avenue while also fronting Biscayne Bay. The LEED Gold Certified and Energy Star labeled building features efficient floorplans with unbeatable bay views, newly renovated lobby, a conference facility, tenant only fitness center, covered parking accessible from Brickell Avenue or SW 8th St., and various on-site retail establishments including Pura Vida. 701 Brickell is also at the center of Miami’s Brickell financial and tech neighborhood and located near 31 distinct transit routes.
