George Pino Expands Firm

State Street Realty, a Miami-based brokerage and advisory firm, has hired Jesus Cortes to join its team of professionals as Senior Associate.   The new hire comes as the firm enters its seventh month in operation as one of the most active commercial real estate firms in South Florida.  The team’s growth will allow State Street Realty to continue to expand its advisory services in landlord representation, tenant representation, land sales and investment sales.
As Senior Associate, Jesus will be responsible for new business development, tenant representation and landlord representation.  He will also assist the firm’s lead brokers, Ed Lyden and George Pino, in various leasing assignments.  Jesus joins State Street Realty after having served as Sales Associate at Americas Industrial Realty.  Over the past seven years, Jesus has successfully completed over $25 million in combined transactions (over 300 transactions) which include lease transactions and building sales totaling over 1.1 million square feet.  Jesus’ past experience includes active roles in the successful leasing and disposition of an industrial portfolio consisting of 41 buildings totaling over 370,000 square feet in Hialeah owned by TA Associates, Inc.  As a South Florida native, Jesus has an intimate knowledge of the local market and many professional business contacts.  He is affiliated with organizations such as Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), Miami Association of Realtors (MAR), Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).
