International Freight Forwarder Expands Footprint In South Florida

Cresa Miami has secured a 27,000-square-foot  industrial lease expansion for OnBoard Logistics USA in Miami Springs, just blocks away from Miami International Airport.

The freight forwarder expanded its original 12,000 square feet to encompass 39,000 square feet in the South Florida Logistics Center located at 6745 NW 36th Street. OnBoard Logistics USA has been a tenant dating back to 2019.

The expansion provides enhanced access to Miami International Airport’s cargo entrance, a crucial move by the company as MIA gears up for its new cargo facility that will increase the airport’s accommodation to 5.5 million metric tons, nearly double from the current 2.5 – 2.8 million metric tons.

Additionally, Cresa Miami just released its Q2 2023 Miami-Dade County Industrial Market Fast Facts – it shows supply is up to 266 million square feet, vacancy is down by 2.3%, and average rent is up to $15.81 per square foot. I’ve attached the full fast facts with a helpful submarket breakdown.
