International Soccer Program Inks Deal At Hallandale Beach’s Atlantic Village

Atlantic Village, a lifestyle mixed-use development, is also poised to be a sporting destination with the addition of the prestigious Juventus Academy as a tenant. The renowned international soccer program, which is affiliated with the prominent Italian professional club Juventus F.C., is set to open a nearly one-acre facility within the third phase of Atlantic Village.

Juventus Academy signed a long-term lease at Atlantic Village, which is home to more than 30 retail, gastronomy, entertainment and Class A medical tenants. The Juventus Academy project was born to bring Juventus colors, methods and values to as many kids as possible around the world. Present in more than 50 countries and on every continent, it offers the teaching and development of football skills and educational training, accompanying young players in their growth, from introduction to the game to maturity beyond the pitch. The entire facility is 43,000 square feet, which includes the soccer fields, clubhouse with a bar, bathrooms and lockers, and 2-4 padel (paddle tennis) courts.

Located at 601 N. Federal Hwy., the third phase of Atlantic Village is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021. Grupo Eco is the developer of the phased and thoughtfully conceived project.

With Juventus Academy on board, Atlantic Village now has several sports and family-oriented tenants. Miami Swimming Academy is set to open this summer in the project’s second phase, located at 701 N. Federal Hwy. In the first phase, located at 801 N. Federal Hwy., Flippo’s Kids Playground is a popular venue for open play, birthday parties and classes for families.

Atlantic Village is bringing 203,500 square feet of retail, restaurant, entertainment, office and medical space to Hallandale Beach. The first phase is fully opened and features more than a dozen shops, service-oriented retail and food-and-beverage tenants including: Crudos Fusion Art, Doggi’s Arepa Bar, Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar, Juice Mafia, The Blues Burgers and Wells Fargo.

Several phase two tenants have already opened their doors – with the rest to follow this summer. Alacran Concept Store, Holi Vegan Kitchen and 9 Round Fitness are open. Additional tenants include Anderson & Cole Nail Bar, Crema Gourmet, Dental Clinic, Ferrer Primary Care, Gelato-Go, Jaffa Israel Kitchen and Wine Bar, La Piazzetta, LifeCell SkinCare and Open Hearts Language Academy.

Atlantic Village recently announced several new medical tenants for the third phase, including:

• City Surgery Center of Hallandale, which is leasing 13,057 square feet on the sixth floor of the building
• DRZ ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery, an acclaimed New York-based plastic surgeon that is relocating to South Florida by leasing 4,305 square feet at Atlantic Village
• Skin and Cancer Associates, a national dermatology group that is opening a 3,731-square-foot location at Atlantic Village

Grupo Eco recently acquired the site of the fourth phase of Atlantic Village directly across North Federal Highway from the rest of the development. The developer is in the process of finalizing its plans for that phase.
