Nicole Messer, Ed Schmidt Earn Prestigious CCIM Designation

Nicole Messer, Broker and firm principal at NM Commercial Realty, and Edward Schmidt, CEO at NAI Miami, have achieved the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world.
Earning the designation at the Institute’s bi-annual business meetings in Chicago, Messer and Schmidt were among 215 commercial real estate professionals who passed the CCIM Comprehensive Examination, the final component in the designation process.

Messer began her commercial real estate career in 2007 as Broker Associate with Adler Realty Services until May 2011, when she opened her own firm, NM Commercial Realty. Headquartered in Doral, NM Commercial Realty currently maintains 266,000 square feet in landlord representation, in Kendall, Brickell, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, and Doral. NM Commercial Realty is also currently a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, Greater Association of Realtors and a member of the local Florida CCIM Chapter.

The prestigious CCIM designation, held by only six percent of brokers nationwide, is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon completion of the graduate-level core course curriculum and attainment of a qualifying level of experience.  The CCIM curriculum addresses the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate, including financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis.
CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.  Since 1969, the Chicago-based CCIM Institute has conferred the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation to commercial real estate and allied professionals through an extensive curriculum of 200 classroom hours and professional experiential requirements.
Currently, there are more than 10,000 CCIMs in 1,000 markets throughout the U.S., Canada, and 30 additional countries.
