Nuveen Real Estate and Cushman & Wakefield announced that South Florida’s all-day café and wellness-minded lifestyle brand Pura Vida will extend its presence in Brickell with a new 4,998-square-foot outpost at 701 Brickell Ave. in Miami’s Brickell financial and tech neighborhood.
The highly anticipated location opened to the public on November 10.
Pura Vida’s presence at 701 Brickell is part of a strategic improvement plan enacted by Nuveen to further solidify the building’s position as the premier destination for businesses in Miami’s vibrant Brickell submarket. Other recently completed enhancements at the building include a fully renovated lobby along with a new conference facility, world-class fitness center, state-of-the-art tenant lounge, and breakout areas.
Cushman & Wakefield has been leading office leasing efforts for 701 Brickell on behalf of landlord Nuveen Real Estate since April of 2019. The building is currently 95% occupied and has had strong office leasing activity. JLL’s Zach Winkler represented Nuveen in the retail lease negotiations for Pura Vida’s new space.
Pura Vida’s 701 Brickell Ave. location marks the restaurant’s 19th location in South Florida and the second in Brickell. It will feature nearly 5,000 square feet and is double in size from its current Brickell outpost. With well-established locations across South Florida, Pura Vida continues to reinforce its standing as the region’s leading wellness and lifestyle brand and the ultimate gathering place for health-conscious and wellness-oriented individuals.
