The Fitzgerald Group’s Adam P. Von Romer, CCIM, Michael Martin Negotiate Sale Of Fort Lauderdale Warehouse

The Fitzgerald Group’s Adam P. Von Romer, CCIM and Michael Martin, MAI negotiated the sale of a 39,100-square foot warehouse facility located at 2816 SW 3rd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

Von Romer and Martin represented the seller, Bigham Insulation & Supply, Bryco, Inc., in the sale.

The property, the former home of Bigham Insulation & Supply, is situated on a ± 19,050-square-foot lot located just blocks from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, US1 and State Road 84/Marina Blvd.

Bigham Insulation & Supply was a South Florida landmark for over 40 years and provided a wide variety of marine and construction related insulation products.

The property was listed on November 16, under contract December 12 and closed on February 26 at 93.3% of list price.

The property was purchased by Bluewater Chairs Holdings, LLC for $3,500,000. Bluewater Chairs Holdings, LLC was also represented by Von Romer and Martin.

“The Seller was looking to retire and had sold his existing business,” explained Von Romer.  “With the industrial sector being as active as it is here in South Florida, we were confident we would be able to secure a buyer at market value.”
