Cushman & Wakefield Secures 24,000-SF Office Lease At 701 Brickell

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a new long term lease for 24,000-square-foot lease with Apollo Capital Management, a high-growth alternative asset manager, at 701 Brickell, located in Miami.

Brian Gale, Ryan Holtzman, and Andrew Trench of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Nuveen Real Estate, in the lease negotiations.

Neil Goldmacher and Mitchell Millowitz with Newmark represented the tenant.

“In the last nine months, 701 Brickell has added almost 50,000 square feet of trophy financial service tenants including high-profile companies such as Point72, Moore Capital, Manhattan Life, and now household name Apollo Capital Management,” Gale said. “701 Brickell has led the market for existing buildings in signing new-to-market leases this year.”

This complex deal required the relocation of an existing tenant and providing temporary space for two tenants, amidst an extensive lobby and building renovation.

The trophy 33-story, 685,835-square-foot Class A tower offers views of Biscayne Bay and the CBD. It is one of only two buildings on Brickell Avenue with direct frontage on Biscayne Bay and Brickell. Amenities include a fitness center, conference facility, full-service salon, café, sundry shop, florist, 24-hour security and a seven-story covered parking garage. The building is LEED Gold certified, WiredScore Gold certified, Energy Star labeled, Fitwel Certified and offers 31 transit routes nearby.

A multi-million renovation is currently underway, including the lobby, common areas, elevators and more.
