Idea Ceramica Inks 40,000 SF Lease

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank director Erick Padilla represented Idea Ceramica USA, an importer of ceramic and porcelain tile and a subsidiary of Idea Ceramica based in Finale Emilia, Italy, in the lease of 40,000 square feet of industrial space in the Hialeah submarket from G&G Real Estate Investments, LLC.
Located close to the Port of Miami and Miami International Airport, the building at 1350 NW 74th St. will accommodate Idea Ceramica’s business expansion. The property offers ample warehouse space and is equipped with loading doors, a ramp and a 2,000-square-foot office/showroom. The company is moving from space it currently occupies in the Doral submarket, at 8371 Northwest 64th Street.
“Idea Ceramica needed space to grow and after a thorough market review, they decided to take advantage of Hialeah’s very competitive lease rates,” Padilla said. “This yielded two very positive results – a 40 percent increase in square footage for the company’s expanding operations and a significant reduction in fixed real estate costs.”
The landlord was represented by Ted Konigsberg of Infinity Commercial Real Estate.
