Southeast Financial Center, Florida’s tallest and largest office tower and plaza totaling 1.225 million square feet in the heart of Miami’s Central Business District, announced today that the building has signed two tenants for 39,389 square feet. To date in 2011, Southeast Financial Center has renewed 97,000 square feet of leases.
On the heels of a spree of new-to-market and existing legal tenant transactions, an additional two of Southeast Financial Center’s prestigious legal tenant roster have reaffirmed their commitment to the tower:
- Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, the 14th largest national law firm by headcount, has signed a renewal for 33,589 square feet on the 52nd and 53rd floors.
- Bercow Radell & Fernandez, PA, a real estate law firm specializing in zoning, land use and environmental law, has signed a renewal for 5,800 square feet on the 8th floor.
According to Mark Zelek, the office managing partner for Morgan Lewis’ Miami office, “Our firm has been in Miami for nearly 35 years. Southeast Financial Center is the ideal South Florida location from which to continue serving our large corporate clients in Miami and around the world.”
The most significant leased tower in the state of Florida with approximately one million square feet under occupancy, Southeast Financial Center’s legal tenant base comprise more than ¼ of the building.
