Transwestern Brings Iconic Office To Near 90% Occupancy
Miami Tower has secured 40,519 square feet of lease renewals and expansions to legal tenants within the class A high-rise office building located at 100 SE 2nd St. in Miami, FL.
Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP, a national law firm with more than 230 litigation lawyers practicing across the country, signed a long-term renewal and expansion of 6,000 square feet for a total of 23,327 square feet.
Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli PL, a Florida-based firm specializing in contested and litigated disputes, signed a long-term renewal for 9,628 square feet.
DRRT, an international law firm in Miami advising domestic and foreign institutional investors in compliance and shareholder protection matters, has signed a long-term expansion of 3,269 square feet for a total of 7,664 square feet in Miami Tower.
Since taking over leasing a year ago for building owner I&G Miami LLC, Transwestern has brought the building’s occupancy up towards 90 percent, beating out the CBD market average of 77 percent according to the firm. The team, led by Gordon Messinger, vice president of Transwestern’s South Florida office, has reportedly secured expansions of more than 80 percent of tenants up for renewal.
