Amidst Global Pandemic, Americas Commercial Real Estate Closes Over 1.6 Million SF In 2020

Americas Commercial Real Estate reported a successful 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Significant deals included a 35,000-square-foot expansion for one of the brokerage’s long-standing tenants, Ben Kaufman.

Ocean Doors and Windows also expanded by an additional 10,000 square feet, bringing the company’s footprint to a total of 65,920 square feet in Medley Palmetto Industrial Park.

“We are grateful to have been able to assist these two local manufactures during this pandemic,” said Alexander Bernaldo, President of Americas Commercial Real Estate. “It was a pleasure to work with two of the most highly respected commercial brokers Rick Castro and Lee Katsikos.”

Americas Commercial also assisted Goya Food in the sale of its 139,000-square-foot industrial building located in Orlando. The freestanding building sold for $10,200,000.00.

Americas Commercial was also able to expand its sales and support team, adding Sadel Ekmeiro and Carmen Munoz.

Ekmeiro, a new commercial associate, brings over 20 years of business experience in sales and negotiations, with a background in the auto finance industry.

Munoz works directly with the office broker and President of Americas CRE, assisting in the review and maintenance of company documents and records, as well as the execution of administrative responsibilities.
